1963: President John F. Kennedy is
received enthusiastically by the residents of
West Berlin, divided from the eastern half of
the city by the Berlin Wall, when he tells
them, "Ich bin ein Berliner."

NOTE: This week I have decided
to share pictures of round barns.
Something rare and unique.
These two barns are rare in that they are twins
on a farm with a farmhouse that is also round. They are
located West of the town of Cedar Lake, Indiana.
They are each forty feet in diameter. The closest
barn has a silo in the middle, whereas the farthest
one to the South does not. The third structure in
this photograph is a farm shed.
