Bones

Gah, my heart bleeds with images such as these. 

Inspired by my travels to Kenya, Africa through various small villages back in 2001, this little guy was a manifestation out of a few of the impoverished children we encountered on the trip. Beautiful, tiny forms of life that held so much hope, and anguish, in their stunning little eyes. 

This stuff just nails you in the heart holes.

This was an Additive Monotype Print. A slow-drying ink is applied to the surface of a metal plate and then sent through the printing press to capture the image.
